They say rain on your wedding day means good luck. If that's true, I think Joe and Erin may be the luckiest!

The day started with cloudy skies, but just as we began portraits, the rain arrived. We made do! The showers came and went throughout the morning, and halfway through the ceremony the rain picked up just enough to make the moment even more memorable. I'm sure it's a memory their guests won't soon forget.

The ceremony was incredibly heartfelt, and to top it all off, they released a pair of doves at the end. Despite the rain, Joe and Erin were such good sports and fully embraced the day. We went ahead with all of their portraits and didn't let the weather slow us down one bit.

Then the celebration really began! Dinner, toasts, visiting with loved ones, and plenty of dancing filled the evening. It was such a fun party and the perfect way to end a beautiful day.
